Can Johnson win one for the thumb?

Filed under: NASCAR News and Views — Scott Voight @ 1:48 pm

Jimmy Johnson picked up where he left off last year by winning the race at Fontana California. We are going to tracks that Johnson is good at for the next few races can he recover from the terrible finish at Daytona? Yes, he answered that beyond a doubt. Johnson seems poised to go ahead and win his fift championship.

Durring the race he lingered in the top 10 for most of the race leading when he could, but his pit crew put him out first due to a late race caution that occured when he was still on pit road. From that point Johnson took off and never looked back. Harvick did everything he could to catch him but he arrived too late.

Johnson who seems to have been born with all the stars in alingment because if your good and have good luck on your side you can be almost unbeatable. This is how Johnson has captured the last 4 championships in a row, luck and being extremely good.

I think it is inetible that as long as Johnson+ Chad Kanaus+ Hendricks= more championships in the future. I think Johnson has the chance to unseat Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty with seven championships.
